with her hands in the soil and a worm on her shoulder, Jamie is the grower of the farm. Jamie had her “vegetable awakening” in high school when the sight of a zucchini flower left her speechless. since then she has worked on multiple farms in the US and abroad allowing her to work with vegetables, herbs, fruit, chickens and goats. Jamie loves not only growing food, but educating eaters on the products and processes.

Farmer Jamie was first exposed to farming at Stone Barns and never looked back. she has a degree in environmental science, is trained in permaculture design, and is a composting expert. more importantly she knows that farmers get to be lifelong learners and researchers, and she will always keep evolving with the land.
